Regional chairman of the South Tyrolean People’s Party

From 2009 until March 2024, I served as the district president of the SVP for the Isarco Valley district, which includes 41 local groups and approximately 8,000 members. In 2012, 2017, and 2022, I was re-elected to this position.

As district president, I represented the district on the party's executive committee and in the party secretariat, and I was responsible for implementing the resolutions and activities of the district bodies in areas such as environment, economy, social affairs, women, the elderly, and youth.

In my capacity as president, I participated for many years in the conference of district presidents, which acts as an advisory body to the party.
